  • Summary

Making things easier for people makes everything better.

I work with product teams in organizations of every size from startup to enterprise, driving user-centered design and user experience strategy. I'm high-energy and easy – hopefully even fun – to work with.

Long before UX gained recognized business value in most enterprises, or became a common component of software design and development, I was integrating those practices in tactical projects and championing their value to executive leadership. My strategic work is guided by ground-level, hands-on experience in all phases of UX organizations of all sizes and structures.

In 2018 I'm taking time to further grow my skill set, extending user experience practices into physical space design. I'm creating two small housing projects, one a sophisticated student housing solution and the other a detached accessory dwelling unit (DADU). While user experience is commonly regarded as the narrow focus of interactions with a product, I'm excited to bring it to the most universal and deeply felt experience of all, the home.

I'm also preparing a strategic human experience offering to launch in 2019, aimed at systematically optimizing stakeholder engagement at every level across an organization's activities. Internal research to shape that offering is happening now. If you are interested in participating as a test case study organization, contact me for more information.
